Reproducible Sustainability
Church planting is expensive in the West. Equipment, legal fees, marketing, facilities, and of course, ministry salaries. Unfortunately, these expenses make sure that there's a greater need to plant churches than funds available to pay for the start-up costs.
Yet that's nothing new. The Apostle Paul wasn't rolling in cash either. That's why he, and many of his team members, utilized more agile funding models for their ministry work. At times they accepted money from a congregation, and at times they worked for pay in other industries. The same is true for many successful church planters today. Check out this episode of the Church Plantology Podcast where we examine the financial constrains of church planting...and how to break free of them.
Church planters and ministry leaders featured on this episode: Bonginkosi Dlulisa (South Africa), Dany Saab (Middle East), Brad Brisco (USA).
